The collected guard patrol information must get to a Manager in a readily useful form. GuardChecker makes that transfer as easy and reliable as possible.
Since GuardChecker is a web based service, our clients need a means to transfer the collected data to their data base. To do this, you will need to select any convenient on-site computer to run a very small program we call the “Client Application” in the background. (The computer’s OS needs to be XP, Vista, or Windows7.) Through various means, e.g., cable, cyber key, cradle, etc., the collection device transfers its data to computer and then on to the web. At the same time the collection device is cleared and ready for new data, and the collection device’s clock is reset if necessary.
There is no need for a dedicated computer. One just needs to be periodically available and permitted access to our web site.
Periodically an administrator will download the “time clock” and the “readers.” Immediately after that she will upload the collected data using the internet. This step is quick and easy.
